Midterm Week

Hey, at least we have half days for the rest of the week... but that's not to say that midterms are great... Mr. Flint just recently started to post the review for our midterm. Haha.. Go Mr. Flint! I already looked over all the test we took, actually skimmed it since I didn't want to study for calc when I have an AP Physics midterm tomorrow... Which is actually one of the class I am worried about since I am not very good at physics.

All I am hoping for this class is that Mr. Flint makes the midterm not so challenging for us so we can all celebrate after taking this midterm(?)...

Alright I'm done writing. :)

Long time..

So I haven't really updated my blog in a long time...
I'm very curious about the math grade, but Mr. Flint refuses to put up the grade!!
Haha I'm just kidding Mr. Flint, you can take your time.
So what we are learning is pretty cool. The short cut is definitely helpful when it comes to doing velocity-related problems or any type of derivative problems actually.

I want to put a equation in here, but I don't know how to do that.. I think I was supposed to make the equation before I started posting this.. Oh well I'll just edit the equation into this after I'm done writing.

Organic Chemistry

The reason why I liked Chemistry was because it involved math. So, this year I decided to take organic chemistry with my fellow Asian Elliott. But I found out that there is barely any math involved!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Well, I still like Chemistry so I'm sure I'll enjoy this class. I'm actually in Organic Chemistry right now and we just finished doing the lab..

And now there are only 2 minutes left in the class so I'll end my post here..

I love Calc AB. (Extra points on test :D)

Math Test

Mr. Flint is being very vague about our test.
He won't list all the topics that we will need to know.
Now everyone will massively panic before taking the test (actually that might just be me), but still.
Time to study until like 2 in the morning. Awesome.

Questions!!

I think this might be way too late for it so I'll visit Mr. Flint in the morning if he is available, if not I can always go to Mr. Casicone :D

Mr. Flint, can you explain to me how to find the asymptotes for trig functions?
I don't understand the concept and I don't know where to find this information on the Larson Calculus Book.

Thank you!

Blog Gadgets Are Cool!!

I thought I would post something before I go to bed for my beauty sleep (just kidding).

The gadgets in this blog are really cool! I just added bunch of fishes where I can feed them for entertainment.

Maybe if I fed them and trained them, they can find the limits for me :) then I wouldn't have to do math ever again!

But then again fishes have one of the lowest IQs in the planet and a memory span of less than around 3 seconds? Wow, they are worse than me (mines around 5 seconds).

Anyway I thought I would post the 2nd part of that derivative video I found on youtube. It really explains it well and it's very detailed as well... As I told Mr. Flint, these videos are NOT made by me, it was made by some smart guy that decided to spread knowledge in youtube. How grateful.

Insert Creative Title Here...

So... I can't think of any creative title so I guess I'll leave my title to be just that at least for now.

The math class today was enjoyable. Although we learned trig limits, we were having fun creating our blog.

But we never got to the sakai part mostly because Mr. Flint's internet explorer kept crashing. That's why Firefox is 100000000000000x better but that's my biased opinion.

And I got 4 followers alrealdy! I hope to increase this by the end of the year. Not really, but more followers would be nice.

Back to math... trig limits are definitely trickier and harder than normal limits we have been doing. But I think with the help of our homework I'm sure it won't be that bad. I think I'll go do my homework now.

I would like to post another video on derivatives but the processing takes FOREVER so I won't put it in this one... it was only 8 MB and it took at least 20 minutes.
